Vandy @ Arkansas - Game 2

On a damp, chilly day at Baum Stadium: new basketball head coach Mike Anderson threw out the first pitch, RBI girls and chicken dancers danced, and 4,356 intrepid fans showed up.  It's too bad the Razorbacks lost, but they do have a chance to take the series tomorrow.

Not many there early

And he didn't need to learn how to Call the Hogs. At the end of his remarks, he started a Hog Call.

Mike Anderson Press Conference

The doors of BWA were scheduled to open at 10 o'clock. It is chilly this morning in Fayetteville so they let us in the lower area and the Hog Heaven store early. We had a Hog Call and a back and forth Arkansas - Razorbacks before they let us upstairs at 10.

Vandy @ Arkansas - Game 1

Arkansas defeated Vanderbilt 2-1 in the first game of a three game SEC series. It was a cool night at Baum Stadium.

The Hogs two runs were scored on an infield single by catcher James McCann. That was reminiscent of the first game between the two teams in 2007, when Arkansas scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly. Oh yes, the runner scored on that fly ball from second.
